All Adirondack Loops Described Assume Starting in Old Forge. Trip time increases with number of stretch stops. All times are round trip from Old Forge, NY.

Minerva Loop 150 miles About 3 hours

For guided or unguided rides, don't forget:
Start with full tank of gas.
Go to restroom before leaving Old Forge.
Make sure your inspections are current.
Wear DOT-approved helmets

Route 28 north to Blue Mountain Lake. Go straight onto Rt 30 to Long Lake. At Hoss’s store go straight onto 28N past Newcomb to Minerva. Then south to North Creek. Right on Rt. 28 in North Creek and back to Indian Lake & Blue Mt Lake. At T in Blue Mt Lake, turn left, following sign for Raquette Lake. Continue on Rt 28 to Inlet, Eagle Bay and Old Forge.

Side Trip A
Just past the Welcome to Long Lake sign is Buttermilk Falls/North Point Rd. Turn left and cruise until you see sign for Buttermilk Falls on the right. Very pretty and worth the detour.
