Lake George-Northville-Speculator Loop 260 miles 6 hrs
From Old Forge, SR 28 north to Blue Mt. Lake. Rt 28 bears right, following sign for Indian Lake, North Creek, Wevertown. At T turn right on SR 9 cruising through Warrensburg, through Lake George. Turn right onto SR 9N to Lake Luzerne. Turn right onto CR 44/Mill St-Main St. Turn right onto CR 4/Rockwell St.-N. Shore Rd. Continue past Hadley. Stay on CR 4/N. Shore Rd. by Sacandaga Reservoir. Turn right on CR 4 to Northville Rd. Turn right onto CR 149 through Northville to T. Turn right onto SR 30 north about 4 miles. Turn left onto CR 6/Benson Rd which becomes CR 125/CR 112 to T. Take right onto SR 10 past Caroga Lake to T. Take right onto SR 8 to Speculator. Turn left onto SR 30 to Indian Lake. Turn left onto SR 28 to Blue Mt Lake. At T in Blue Mt Lake, turn left, following sign for Raquette Lake. Continue on Rt 28 to Inlet, Eagle Bay and Old Forge.
