North Hudson-Tracy Road-Lake Placid Loop 265 miles 6 hrs
Route 28 north to Blue Mountain Lake. Go straight onto Rt 30 to Long Lake. At Hoss’s store go straight onto 28N to Newcomb. 4 miles past Newcomb turn left onto Blue Ridge Rd, CR 84/CR 2 and ride to North Hudson. Turn left onto I- 87 N. Take next exit. Turn right onto SR 9 south. Go 200 ft and turn left onto CR 6/Tracy Rd to Witherbee. Turn left onto Dalton Hill Rd, intersect SR 7 Go straight to Lincoln Ponds to T. Take left onto SR 9N. Stay on 9N through Elizabethtown (left then right in town). Continue 9N to T. Take right onto 9N/73 to Keene. Bear left onto SR 73 by Cascade Lakes to Lake Placid. At T take left onto SR 86. Cruise through Lake Placid to Saranac Lake. SR 3 West to Tupper Lake. SR 30 South to Long Lake and Blue Mt Lake. At foot of Blue Mt hill straight on Rt 28 following sign for Raquette Lake. . Cruise through Inlet, Eagle Bay, back to Old Forge.
