All Adirondack Loops Described Assume Starting in Old Forge. Trip time increases with number of stretch stops. All times are round trip from Old Forge, NY.

Forestport-Speculator Loop 150 miles 3.5 hrs
Rt. 28 South to Forestport. Exit Rt 28 to right, loop under bridge onto CR 72, Woodhull Rd. Bear right at Buffalo Head Restaurant on CR 72 onto Lake Julia Rd. At T turn left onto CR 55 Fairchild Rd. At T turn left on SR 365. At T turn left onto SR 8. SR8 East to Piseco (consider a side trip around Piseco Lake) and on to Speculator. Turn left onto SR 30 North to Indian Lake. At T turn left onto SR 28 to Blue Mountain Lake. At T turn left onto SR 28 towards Raquette Lake. Cruise through Inlet, Eagle Bay, back to Old Forge.
